InformAll, communicating about Food Allergies

WP6: Exploitation and Dissemination of Information

Objectives:

  • Dissemination of new information by publication in the scientific literature and presentation of research findings at scientific meetings
  • Information will be made available to the general public by means of a web-site, particularly the FAIP, and publication in the popular scientific press. The web-site will be constantly up-dated with project information, prepared in a way to be accessible to non-scientists.
  • Other published documents (such as newsletters) will be used to distribute information to consumers, regulators and the agro-food industry.
  • Project objectives and progress towards project goals will be assessed in relation to the proposed workplan and progress towards project objectives.
  • Plans for exploitation of deliverables beyond the end of the project will be developed, particularly the maintenance of the allergenic foods database.
  • The progress being made towards the scientific deliverables will be assessed at the mid-point, using an invited external referee to give objective feedback to the consortium.
  • A seminar will be held in Brussels to disseminate the project result and recommendations regarding communication strategies, to interested regulators from different EU member states/key officials in the Commission.
